Giram Is Really A Modeller
It is a multi-purpose 3D modeller written with gtk+ It can load and save POV-Ray and AutoCAD DXF sources files. Some basic modelling tools are already there. Its very open and user friendly.

There are run-time dependencies that need to be installed first. Why not use depothelper to install them all in one go?
