This is Doug Mink's revision of SAOIMAGE, completed May 2, 1994. It is identical to NOAO's version 1.07 with two differences: 1: Version 1.08 autoscales images linearly between limits set as a fraction of the peak histogram value. Version 1.07 scales linearly between the minimum and maximum images values, often producing a black initial image. 2: Version 1.08 correctly displays floating point FITS images on machines, such as Decstations, where the byte order is the reverse of the FITS byte order. Copies of the changed files are in the New directory.
