It is similar in functionality to other molecule drawing programs such as ChemDraw (TM, CambridgeSoft). It can read and write MDL Molfiles to allow sharing between XDrawChem and other chemistry applications. XDrawChem has been tested on Linux and SGI IRIX 6.5. XDrawChem was designed with Qt 2.2, available free from http://www.troll.no Please read INSTALL which gives instructions on how to install XDrawChem. The "save" directory contains some example files which demonstrate some of XDrawChem's features. XDrawChem features an online manual. Run the program and press F1 (or select Manual under the Help menu) for instructions. The BUGS file lists known bugs (or features which may be perceived as bugs!). The HISTORY file lists changes made in each revision. The TODO file lists bugs and/or features planned for future releases. The XDrawChem web site is http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte067k/xdrawchem Please report bugs and suggest features to me at the e-mail listed above.
