patch-2.7.6
Applies diffs to files to reproduce new versions
It can apply a fuzz factor if the line numbering does not exactly match. Original files that are modified are saved with a ".orig" extension. Patch is used as a way of supplying a new version of a program without having to redistribute the entire source code again.
