WHAT IS XBAR?

	Xbar is a tool that will allow you to change the title on any running application
without having to type a single word by using the X selection buffer. Simply select some text and run the program. It will ask for the window and change it for you automagically.

	I found that I am always running 5 xterms and forgetting what the hostnames are,
and since these are customer machines I dont have the option or inclination to add the
escape codes to the PS3. Using this program in the menu of whatever window manager you are running allows you to change the titlebar to reflect any info you like. (even scratch pad data)

LICENSE

Xbar is released under the GNU Public License (GPL).

USAGE
	1) Add Xbar to your window manager's menu.

	2) Select some text with the mouse.

	3) Run Xbar from the menu.

	4) Select the window you want to change.

	Done!

BUGS
	Xbar only seems to be able to use selections from xterm.
	not kvt/Eterm/gnome-terminal

INSTALLATION
	Xbar is only a single c file and should be portable across most systems...
I have personally tested it under Solaris/Sparc and Linux/x86. (and it works too)

Just follow the simple instructions :

	$ make
	$ make install

The program is installed in /usr/local/bin

add it to your menu or whatever and you are ready to go
