Locks the local X display until a password is entered
During the locking, one of several graphics demos can be shown, including fractal generation, fireworks or a swarm of lines. This release includes improved support for limited locking of terminals in public areas.

There are run-time dependencies that need to be installed first. Why not use depothelper to install them all in one go?
